What happens to my bill?
Your bill is sent to LlamaIndex to extract usage and rate data. We don’t save the uploaded file and request deletion of processing files and results afterwards. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on what we collect and why.
How is this free?
The bill check is free. If you choose to switch through us, the retailer pays us a commission. You can see your comparison without requesting a callback.
Where does the rate data come from?
We use published business plan data under Australia's Consumer Data Right. Annual costs are estimates based on your usage and the plans we can compare. Our panel includes AGL, Origin, EnergyAustralia, Alinta, ActewAGL and Aurora, among others. Eligible business plans are compared across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, TAS and ACT where available. Coverage varies by postcode, fuel, network and tariff. We don’t compare every plan in the market. For WA and NT electricity, we separately provide official regulated business tariff benchmarks, subject to network and usage eligibility. These are tariff checks, not confirmed switching savings. WA gas users can check published standard-contract caps after confirming their regulated supply area; additional retailer fees are excluded. NT gas needs a site-specific quote because we have no verified published tariff for automated comparison.
What happens after I submit my details?
If you request a callback, one of our energy experts reviews your bill and calls you within one business day to confirm rates, eligibility and next steps. No obligation to switch.
Do I have to switch retailers?
No. Checking your bill and getting a callback is obligation-free. You only switch if you decide the new deal is worth it.
